Thank you to James Wood High School for holding their annual Spikes for Tyes fundraiser for the Evans Home last night. It was a great time and we are really thankful for the support. This past Sunday we held the 54th Annual Doll Auction at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. We had a lot of fun during the Live Auction of the Dolls and Quilts. We also held a silent auction that included quilt table toppers/runners, dolls, locally made crafts and doll accessories. Finally we had a wonderful table dedicated to locally made crafts that were for sale.
The proceeds from all of the live and silent auction items as well as the sale of all of the locally made crafts help support the Evans Home and the kids and families we serve. We thank all of the doll dressers, the quilt makers and other crafters that donated items for the event. We also thank the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley for donating the space, and our Board of Directors for putting the whole event together.
